If you don't ski, then we will teach you. Our ski school offers instruction in Alpine and Snowboard Skiing. Our packages include a 1 hour introductory lesson for the beginner that will include instruction in putting on your skis, taking them off, walking, stopping, turning on very gentle slopes and riding the lift. Timberline Ski School is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America
Want to take your scouts, youth group or school class on an inexpensive overnight weekend or weekday trip? Then come stay with us in one of our two bunkhouses. Get your lodging, meals, lift tickets, rentals and introductory ski lesson at an unbelievable low rate. We have packages as low as $79.00 per person. If you want something a little nicer, like a house or condo with a fireplace and hot tub, then we can help you find that too.
Don't want to stay overnight. That's okay. Bring your group and take advantage of one of our really low priced Day Packages. Our packages, Sunday thru Friday, include an all day lift ticket (from opening to closing, even if there is night skiing), regular downhill ski equipment rental and a Level 1 beginners ski lesson. Want to come on Saturday? That's great, we will build the package you need and you can still save over the main lift ticket window prices.

Invitational to Timberline's Mountain Bike Program |

Timberline is inviting all to come out and experience the new expanded mountain bike program. There will be guided sessions at 10 am and 2 pm led by the people who built Timberline's system of trails and riding areas. Both expert and easy trails encompassing the 1,000 foot mountain vertical and other lower altitude easy trails at the base of the mountain have been laid out. All level of bikers will be able to enjoy the expanded terrain. Timberline will be offering over 3,500 vertical feet of expert level downhill riding. Several hundred acres of open riding areas include 40 foot natural wall rides, bermed downhill logging roads, a downhill single track, a downhill double track, drops and glade tree runs offering dozens of fine choices. The staff is constructing a dual slalom track to compliment the extensive downhill opportunities. In addition, a pump track will be built (in compliance to the specifications of "Pump Track Nation") at the base lodge. The track will be available to all levels of riders to progress in their riding skills.

Racefest IX “Timberline 50” Weekend |

This increasingly popular bi-annual event at Timberline is a Paul Koontz promotion with Off Road Vehicle races and ATV races. Celebration begins on Friday evening with a full menu available at the Fireside Grill. Live entertainment will be rock and variety music at 8:00pm on Friday. The event continues all day Saturday with early morning breakfast at The Fireside Grill upstairs at the ski lodge and food, entertainment and scenic chair lift rides throughout the day. All day concerts are scheduled under a large tent off the deck a the Ski Lodge. Food and beverage specials will be served on the deck or in the lodge all day. Brother Short, "Harley" and James Michel Woodyard will perform from 2pm-7pm. Nashville recording star Alli Gillis and her band will be the featured artist from 7-9pm. The energetic group Three Nuts and a Woody will stage a memorable rock party a the Fireside Gill and Timbers Pub in the Ski Lodge until 2am. Join us at the area’s biggest rock party each night! Annual Summer Rhythm and Blues Festival |

A weekend full of live rhythm and blues music Friday evening through late Saturday. There is no cover charge for any performance. Scenic chairlift rides every weekend all summer. The bike shop and Timberline’s riding stables open daily. There will be a full menu in the Fireside Grill. The Grill will also feature Friday shrimp and Saturday evening Timberline’s famous barbeque ribs special. No charge for the musical performances. WV HOG Ralley Bike Show |

The ride-in bike show on Saturday July 19th at 1pm, will be part of the 2008 WV State HOG Rally which runs 16- 20 of July. The show is open to the public with hundreds of competitors from some of the most renowned Harley Davidson bike owners in the country. Prizes and awards will be given away immediately after the show, so stick around for the presentation. The Cornhole Chapter Challenge Tournament will also be held on Timberline grounds just after the show awards, so be there to route your chapter to victory. You must be a HOG member and registered to the rally to compete in either event. But spectators are encouraged. Roy Scott with Harmony Scott will be performing all afternoon into the evening. There is no cover charge. Come enjoy the music and view some of the best bikes in the state.
