Snowy Luau Festival is a long standing Timberline tradition which has grown each year to current reputation as the biggest festival in the region. This family oriented weekend features authentic Hawaiian music, Polynesian dancers, pig roast on the deck and a huge bonfire. There will be prizes for the best and most unique costumes and downhill races. Saturday night there will be fireworks display on the summit of Herz Mountain and a torch light parade flowing like lava from the top of the mountain to the base lodge. Then still more Hawaiian music and followed by late night rhythm and blues music until 2am. There is no cover chare for any of the performances.

Beginning of Timberline’s Summer Season. The official start of the mountain bike season. Our bike shop is open daily 9am until 5pm. The Scenic chairlift rides operational every Saturday and Sunday and holidays 10am until 5pm. Scenic chairlift rides available on the 23rd, 24th, & 25th. Timberline’s stable open daily with guided trail rides. Breakfast or dinner trail rides available. Volleyball tournaments begin. Live entertainment weekends with no cover charge. Timbers Pub and Grill open every day all year. Friday shrimp special and all you can eat award winning ribs with a full dinner menu both Friday and Saturday evening.

This increasingly popular bi-annual event at Timberline is a Paul Koontz production with motor bike races and ATV races. Celebration begins on Friday evening with a full menu available at the Fireside Grill. Live entertainment will be rock and variety music at 9:30pm. The event continues all day Saturday with early morning breakfast at The Fireside Grill upstairs at the ski lodge and food and entertainment throughout the day. Saturday evening a popular rock band will entertain in the ski lodge starting at 9:30pm. Join us at the area’s biggest rock party each night! Call (304)866-4801 for advance reservations for the onsite, upscale, Timbers Lodge Hotel just constructed at the base of Winterset Trail adjacent to the main Timberline Lodge, Timbers Pub and the Fireside Grill. A weekend full of live rhythm and blues music Friday evening through late Saturday. There is no cover charge for any performance. Scenic chairlift rides every weekend all summer. The bike shop and Timberline’s riding stables open daily. There will be a full menu in the Fireside Grill. The Grill will also feature Friday shrimp and Saturday evening Timberline’s famous barbeque ribs special. No charge for the musical performances. Call for advance reservations in the new onsite Timbers Lodge Hotel at the base of Winterset Trail a short walk from the activities at the Timbers Pub and Fireside Grill in the ski lodge.

Enjoy the increasingly popular Celtic music presented by recognized Celtic artists playing traditional Irish songs; both vocal and instrumental renditions of quintessential Celtic sounds will be presented on fiddle, mandolin and guitar. Later, at 9pm contemporary and traditional music for dancing until 1am with no cover charge. There is a full menu in the Fireside Grill and late night menu. Mountain Bike Center opens daily. Scenic lift rides to the summit of Herz Mountain (altitude 4,362 feet, vertical 1,000 feet) July 4th – 5th. Attach your bike and ride the chairlift for high altitude bike riding. Fireside Grill open daily for lunch and dinner and Timbers Pub open daily with late night food and beverage. Timberline Stables open daily for trail riding. Live music in Timbers Pub 8pm July 4th & 5th. There is no cover charge.
