MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION MARKS THE START OF TIMBERLINE SUMMER SEASON

The Memorial Day Weekend, May 23rd through May 26th, the beginning of Timberline Four Seasons Resort’s summer season, will include several weekend music festivals, motor and bicycle races, weekend entertainment every Friday and Saturday and continued daily food and beverage service at the Fireside Grill and Timbers Pub at the ski lodge.

One thousand foot vertical scenic lift rides to the 4,268 feet summit of Herz Mountain will occur 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, May 26th - 28th The scenic lift rides will be operational every weekend in the summer and in the early fall from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Rides are $7.00 per person. Bikers can attach their bike to the chairlift for high altitude mountain biking.

Timberline’s mountain biking program has been expanded to include downhill trails encompassing a combined 3000 feet vertical. The mountain biking and associated retail store will offer daily rental equipment and supplies not only for riders but for hikers at the resort. The mountain bike operation and trail expansion and improvements are directed by Mr. J.R. Nolan.

Mr. Nolan comes to the Timberline Bike Center having worked in the Racing Department under such recognized Timberline skiers as John Lutz, Tim Warden and Annie Snyder. This team has a combined 18 years of racing experience.

Timbers Pub and Fireside Grill will feature seafood specials on Friday May 23rd. The grill will feature all you can eat award winning barbecue ribs on Saturday evening. Sunday’s feature is prime rib special.

The weekend celebration at Timberline will continue evenings with the variety, rhythm and blues sounds of local favorite James Michel Woodyard.

Traditional evening volley ball tournaments at the Timberline regulation sand court begin every Friday evening at 6:00 pm. Players will enjoy complimentary court side hors d’oeuvres at 6:00 pm.

Timberline Stables are open daily with guided trail rides.
